What happens if I'm not covered?
Some patients may have to pay out of pocket for therapy. Physiotherapy fees paid directly by patients are tax-free and qualify as a medical expense for income tax purposes.
We provide only the therapy you need and we help you supplement your in-clinic care with a self-managed home care program.
We accept most major credit cards, debit, and cash. Insured or not, we will work together with you to help make your therapy accessible and affordable with a flexible payment plan that fits your budget.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Bring your insurance information (if planning to have an insurance-covered treatment) and your doctor's note, if you have one. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, and a big smile.
What happens on my first visit?
You will be thoroughly assessed by a highly trained, licensed physiotherapist. Treatments are to be done on subsequent visits.
What shall I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing as specific areas of your body will be subject for evaluation and treatment. For instance, if the issue is on your knee then it’s better to wear shorts or loose-fitting pants that can be rolled up.
How many treatments do I need?
The number of treatments depends on your condition and the severity of your injury. Everyone responds differently to their type of treatment, but you will know on day 1 before you leave, what is recommended.

Is a doctor's referral necessary?
A doctor’s referral isn't necessary but, in rare cases, our physiotherapists may need you to see your doctor in order to get further testing done. Note that some extended insurance plans may require a doctor’s referral to get reimbursements for physiotherapy.

Although she has primarily worked in a clinical setting, she also has experience working in the long term care sector with geriatric patients. Rani is committed to educating and empowering her patients to speedily achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. She has completed training in therapeutic yoga which she now implements in her practice. I have been working with them for a couple of months now and the staff are excellent! Rani, the physio, explained my treatment plan to me so I knew how we would go about it. She explains what exercises are for and is able to push me to do my best. I like that she makes me do actual exercises and not just the machines. Dr. Bali is awesome, very upbeat. She does my adjustments and it improved movement. Stephanie at the front is very efficient and scheduling is not difficult. Great clinic, clean facilities, and courteous staff.

I was in a car accident in December 2018 and I was referred to a different clinic by my family doctor for treatment. I went there only once and I did not have a proper assessment nor the treatment. The service at this Body Works Physiotherapy location is great and I highly recommend this clinic! Jenn at reception is always friendly and accommodating whenever I need to book an appointment. Teresa has been my RMT for the past year and she has fixed every muscle problems I've had so far. Even when I accidentally twisted my back carrying my 3-year-old out of his car seat from the car and I couldn't walk, after several treatments, I was good as new!

Without the help of Nila and her team, my pain levels would be through the roof, my left arm mostly likely would not move nor would I have much mobility in my neck. They have helped me to regain the movement back in my arm, work to keep my mobility in my neck and work to alleviate some of the other systems. Nilu the physio is AMAZING. She provides great treatment, explains everything, and was monumental in guiding me through my MVA accident. The massage therapist Alen - once you go to him you will never want to go for a massage anywhere else. His hands are magic. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!!

I am going to this place since Jan-2018 and they have helped me to get back to my norm-life after the motor vehicle accident by teaching and making me do different muscle strengthening exercises.
