What happens after my treatment. Do I need to rest?
You can go back to your activity an hour after your therapy. While most patients didn’t experience adverse effect, some may feel a little burning sensation or tenderness following shockwave therapy but these modest after effects will not necessarily hinder you from getting back to work.

I have been working with them for a couple of months now and the staff are excellent! Rani, the physio, explained my treatment plan to me so I knew how we would go about it. She explains what exercises are for and is able to push me to do my best. I like that she makes me do actual exercises and not just the machines. Dr. Bali is awesome, very upbeat. She does my adjustments and it improved movement. Stephanie at the front is very efficient and scheduling is not difficult. Great clinic, clean facilities, and courteous staff.

The service at this Body Works Physiotherapy location is great and I highly recommend this clinic! Jenn at reception is always friendly and accommodating whenever I need to book an appointment. Teresa has been my RMT for the past year and she has fixed every muscle problems I've had so far. Even when I accidentally twisted my back carrying my 3-year-old out of his car seat from the car and I couldn't walk, after several treatments, I was good as new!

Without the help of Nila and her team, my pain levels would be through the roof, my left arm mostly likely would not move nor would I have much mobility in my neck. Nilu the physio is AMAZING. She provides great treatment, explains everything, and was monumental in guiding me through my MVA accident. The massage therapist Alen - once you go to him you will never want to go for a massage anywhere else. His hands are magic. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!!

I am going to this place since Jan-2018 and they have helped me to get back to my norm-life after the motor vehicle accident by teaching and making me do different muscle strengthening exercises. Rani Poothullil has completed her Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy at Rajiv Ghandhi University in India in 2002 and came to Canada and completed her registration and licensing with the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators in 2009. Before she joined Body Works in 2009, she worked in various clinical settings gaining valuable knowledge and experience in physiotherapy. Aside from her successful profession as a Physiotherapist, she also is a certified Yoga Instructor, which she tries to integrate into her physiotherapy practice. She actively participates in a badminton group and well as getting her exercise looking after her busy 2 daughters and husband.
